Laundry Room

Finally...sorry it took so long to get this post up.  Our Laundry room is pretty simple and small but it gets the job done. The sign above is what started the whole thing. :)The largest change that we did was this...
We added beadboard and hooks..since we don't have a lot of storage this is a great place for our daughter to hang her backpack and coats.  I LOVE it!!  Above the hooks I hung baby gowns my grandmother made many years ago..here is a close up of each one.

I really like how simple they look.
Across from the beadboard wall is where our washer/dryer are located.
As you can see..there is not a whole lot of space to decorate especially since we have a top load washer still..one day we will get front load then I will have a LOT more to decorate. :)  But for now I did dress up this area..

I am still looking for a child size wooden shoe form to put on the far right end of the shelf.  I know I will find one just hope it's soon..Like I said its small but it works. :)
Now that I have figured out how to add photos..since they changed it..I hope to have another post up this week.  Hope you have a great week!

Let it Snow..Let it Snow..Let it Snow

Good Morning!!  Sorry for such a long delay in my posts..December is a CRAZY busy month for our family...we have 4 birthdays + the holidays!!  But now it's Janurary and I'm back!!! :)
If you have been following me on Facebook you might have seen my post on the Mason jar Snowglobes I made...I thought you might want to make a few for yourself so today I will fill you in on the SIMPLE details.

Above is the finished product...all you will need is....
Epsom Salt, Jars & pretty much anything that you like that will fit in the jar.
First you will fill up the jar as much as you would like to with the Epsom Salt then place your item down into the salt...it will hold the item in place.  But you you have something that is heavy or shaped odd you might want to glue it to the bottom and then pour in the salt.  Also, you can either fill it so the jar is "upright" or you can place the items on the lid of the jar so it's upside down.  As you can see mine is upright.  Then just embellish however you would like to.  The larger jar I added burlap & a felt snowflake but the small one I just tied a white ribbon around.  I will be making another one also..not sure what I am going to put in it..may just do "snow" aka salt or something else that looks like winter.  Hope this inspires you to make one...if you do please post photos on my Facebook page...I would love to see your creations!
Stay tuned...I will be posting on our Vintage style Laundry Room soon!!!
